Dr. Andres M. Lugo has 15 years of international experience applying PUBLIC HEALTH ASSESSMENT methodologies to investigate and assess communities and individuals living near industrial sites, or with toxic environmental problems.
Dr. Lugo has more than 25 years experience on CLINICAL TOXICOLOGY while working full-time during 20 years at Poison Control Centers at California at LOS ANGELES DRUG AND POISON CENTER at "Los Angeles County Medical Center LAC+USC, Also, at the West Texas Regional Poison Center at Thomason Hospital- / Now: University Hospital at El Paso Texas; and at Prosar Poison Control Center at St. Paul Minnesota.
Also, Dr. Lugo has been working as Private Clinical Toxicology Consultant at Private Consulting Group.
Throughout more than 25 years of toxicology work Dr. Lugo's has participated on the assessment and treatment of more than 100,000 patients exposed to toxic substances to include: HEAVY METALS, PESTICIDES, PETROCHEMICALS, SOLVENTS, INDUSTRIAL AND HOUSEHOLD CHEMICALS, NATURAL PRODUCTS, BIOLOGICAL TOXINS, POISONOUS PLANTS AND POISONOUS ANIMALS, MARINE TOXINS, RADIATION, PHARMACEUTICAL DRUGS, AND DRUGS OF ABUSE.
Currently Dr. Lugo serves as Medical Toxicology Consultant for State and Federal Public Defenders, District Attorneys and Courts at State and Federal Levels in the United States of America.
Also, Dr. Lugo is a Regional Director of Advanced HAZMAT Life Support from the University of Arizona.
